The Environmental League of Massachusetts Action Fund PAC has endorsed Representative Sean Garballey of Arlington in the election for the 23rd Middlesex State Representative district, a credit to his commitment to the environment.
“He knows that towns like Arlington and across the Commonwealth will benefit from a clean energy economy that will power us into the future,” said ELM Action Fund Executive Director Joe O’Brien.
“Representative Garballey has over a decade of experience fighting for environmental issues,” said ELM Action Fund President Elizabeth Henry. “It is important that we keep experienced champions like him in the State House.”
Representative Garballey is a strong advocate for Massachusetts moving toward a clean energy future and filed the 100% renewable energy act in 2017. He was born and raised in Arlington and attended Arlington Public Schools before earning a bachelor’s degree in political science from UMass Lowell. Before he was elected to the state legislature at the age of 23 he was a Town Meeting member and a member of the Arlington School Committee.
